MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (Clinical Applications Support)

MUST-HAVES (REQUIRED):

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field
• MT (ASCP) Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist
• Strong knowledge of QC practices, including Westgard rules
• Experience with CLSI validation protocols and IQCP
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements in a clinical lab setting
• Must currently reside in the greater San Francisco, CA area (no relocation offered)

Position Overview:
Join a well-established and financially stable medical device manufacturer as a Clinical Applications Support Medical Technologist. In this role, you will serve as a key technical resource, providing operational and applications support for advanced laboratory instrumentation across the greater San Francisco area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Medical Technologist who enjoys combining clinical expertise with customer interaction and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote support for laboratory instrumentation and applications
• Assist with instrument implementation, validation, and optimization
• Ensure compliance with QC standards, CLSI protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues in clinical lab environments
• Train and support laboratory personnel on proper instrument use and best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction
