Dothan, AL (Onsite, nights)
Provide overnight hospital care for adult patients on a consistent 8 PM to 8 AM nocturnist schedule. You will manage admissions, cross-cover, and respond to overnight changes alongside physicians, working at the top of your license. Pay is $120K to $180K, and relocation is available.
Must-Haves
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board certified
- ICU APP experience
- Able to work 12-hour night shifts
- Strong clinical decision-making, independently and within a physician-led team
What You'll Do
- Work 12-hour night shifts, 8 PM to 8 AM
- Deliver hospital-based care to adult patients
- Assess patients and build treatment plans
- Manage admissions, rounds, and cross-coverage
- Order and act on labs, imaging, and diagnostics
- Respond quickly to overnight changes in condition
- Document and hand off care clearly
Nice-to-Haves
- Hospitalist, emergency medicine, or acute care experience
