•A Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy is a must.

•Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association is required.

•You must be licensed within the State of Montana.

Hours and compensation:

•This position offers day shift hours.

•The salary range is between $34.50 and $42 per hour, plus full benefits and a relocation or sign-on bonus.

•As the Rehabilitation Specialist, you will conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide treatment to assigned patients. You will help patients reach their maximum performance level and teach them to utilize their learned skills effectively for community living.

•You will administer comprehensive evaluations and documentations according to departmental standards and procedures. Additionally, you will provide consultations on environmental design, adaptive equipment, proper patient positioning, and splinting to agencies such as schools, nursing homes, home care agencies, and hospitals.

•Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and reports is a crucial part of your role.

•You will design and implement treatment programs that aim to enhance patients' functioning levels. This may involve therapeutic exercises, activities to improve strength and coordination, and teaching patients how to use adaptive equipment for various daily tasks.

•You will provide therapy for neurological integration, administer sensor-motor integration treatment techniques, and develop visual perceptual-motor remediation programs. Additionally, you will provide individualized therapy for adult learning-disabled patients.

•Fabricating splints as per doctors' prescriptions and designing adaptive equipment to meet patients' specific needs will also be a part of your responsibilities.

•You will administer treatment programs for traumatic brain-injured patients, focusing on improving judgment skills, reality orientation, and organizational abilities.

•Prevention therapy to maintain functional skills, including instructing patients and their families in proper care techniques and safety precautions, will be a part of your role.

•You will assess patients' organizational skills, attention spans, cognitive abilities, and adaptive-equipment requirements through various activities.

•Designing home programs and educating patients or families on implementing these programs will also be a part of your duties.

•You will participate in patient support groups and collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive care.

•Additionally, you will conduct evaluations and develop personalized care plans.
