About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Tax Supervisor to lead our tax team in Katy. You will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, providing strategic tax planning, and providing guidance to a talented team. You will work with a dynamic client portfolio consisting of individuals, corporations, partnerships, and S-corporations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of federal, state, and local tax filings by reviewing and managing them.
• Tax Planning: Advise clients on effective strategies to optimize their tax positions and navigate complex tax matters such as mergers, credits, and restructuring.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing trust and providing tailor-made tax solutions.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
• Research & Strategy: Stay updated on tax laws, conduct research on complex issues, and provide actionable insights to clients.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's in Taxation or MBA preferred).
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Certification: CPA license is required.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of tax laws, exceptional client management abilities, and effective leadership skills.
