Oracle Database & Applications (EBS) Administrator - DBA
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Must-Haves:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience administering Oracle Databases (including Oracle 19c) and Oracle EBS R12.1/R12.2

• Strong experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN for high availability and disaster recovery

• Experience supporting Oracle EBS in multi-production server environments (HR, Payroll, Financials or other R12 modules)

• Hands-on Exadata database experience

• Linux administration experience within Red Hat or Oracle Linux environments, including shell scripting

• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-terabyte databases and highly available production systems

• Working knowledge of Oracle multitenant architecture (CDB/PDB)

• Strong understanding of database security concepts including encryption, replication, and data masking

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

• Ability to work onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area or relocate upon start

Position Overview:
Join a collaborative IT team supporting a mission-critical Oracle ecosystem used daily across multiple regions of the United States. In this highly visible, hands-on role, you will manage and optimize Oracle RAC databases and Oracle EBS applications while supporting Linux-based infrastructure in a large-scale, multi-terabyte enterprise environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Administer and support Oracle 19c RAC databases and Oracle EBS 12.1/12.2 environments to ensure availability, performance, and reliability

• Manage middleware and infrastructure including Oracle WebCenter Content, Exadata, Oracle application servers, and Linux environments

• Oversee database security, user administration, RMAN backup/recovery, and Data Guard standby environments

• Perform database installations, patching, upgrades, cloning, and performance tuning

• Develop automation scripts, monitoring, and reporting tools to improve operational efficiency

• Collaborate with developers on application releases and custom solutions

• Work with vendors including Oracle, Red Hat, EMC, VMware, and Nutanix to maintain enterprise systems

• Maintain documentation and implement security controls across database environments

Nice to Have:

• Oracle certifications

• Oracle Enterprise Manager experience

• Oracle Cloud technologies

• Backup and disaster recovery tools such as EMC or CommVault

• Virtualization platforms including VMware or Nutanix
