Oracle Developer, Fusion Cloud HCM

An established energy company with more than 2,000 employees across Western New York and Northwest Pennsylvania is hiring an Oracle Developer to support its growing Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM environment. This hands-on enterprise applications role involves development, configuration, integrations, reporting, data activities, troubleshooting, and ongoing application support as the company expands its Oracle ecosystem and integrates a recent acquisition.

Schedule
Full time, onsite. Some relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates.

Compensation
$80,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience.

What You'll Do
This role configures, develops, and supports Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and related applications, working with functional business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The developer builds and maintains integrations, extensions, reports, and data extracts, and supports data conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities.

The role collaborates with data engineers and application architects to align solutions with enterprise standards, troubleshoots application issues, and helps maintain system reliability. It also includes participating in system testing, UAT, and post-implementation stabilization, documenting configurations, integrations, and technical designs, and working with outside vendors and implementation partners to support knowledge transfer and long-term application support.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Oracle Developer experience supporting enterprise application development, systems analysis, or a related discipline
• Professional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, including a mix of Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, and/or Security, covering application configuration, extensions, integrations, or development
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Local to the Buffalo, NY area or willing to relocate upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in utilities, energy, financial services, or another regulated industry
• Hands-on experience with enterprise implementations, acquisitions, or major platform transitions
