Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Tukwila, WA. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our patients. Your expertise and personalized treatment plans will help patients regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals
• Create personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, using various therapeutic techniques and modalities
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and function
• Monitor and document patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Stay updated on advancements in rehabilitation techniques and best practices
• Ensure patient compliance with Plan of Care
• Effectively delegate tasks and utilize support staff
• Contribute to a collaborative culture based on our service vision
• Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily patterns
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Rehabilitation Specialist
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• CPR certification and any other required state certifications
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric rehabilitation (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping

Physical Requirements:

• Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists
• Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients (up to 50 pounds)
• Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions
• Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment
• Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively
• Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules
