Pay: $85,000 to $105,000 per year
Relocation: Assistance available
Drive safety culture and continuous improvement at a large heavy industrial manufacturing plant as a key member of a three-person EHS team.
Must-Haves
- 3+ years of safety experience in manufacturing operations
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related technical field
- Experience with safety programs, audits, training, and accident investigations
- Metric-driven approach with the ability to turn data into results
- Hands-on, collaborative style with the ability to lead culture change
What You’ll Do
- Drive continuous improvement of the site’s health and safety process
- Develop and implement safety systems and programs
- Conduct safety audits and lead employee training
- Lead accident investigations and corrective actions
- Manage workers’ compensation cases
- Support emergency response planning and activities
- Build employee engagement and accountability for safety
- Support basic environmental compliance
- Report to the plant EHS Manager
Nice-to-Haves
- Heavy industrial experience in steel, metals, automotive, or aerospace
- Environmental compliance experience
- CSP or ASP certification
Compensation and Benefits
- $85,000 to $105,000 per year
