Cardiology Registered Nurse

Compensation: $110,000 to $120,000 per year

This regional healthcare system is hiring a full time Cardiology Registered Nurse for its cardiovascular service line in Great Falls, Montana. This RN provides nursing care to cardiology patients and serves as the clinical liaison between patients, families, and cardiovascular providers, supporting inpatient and outpatient cardiac care coordination.

Schedule: Full time, on site.

Compensation: $110,000 to $120,000 per year, based on documented years of nursing experience.

What You'll Do:
This RN will provide nursing care to cardiology patients in accordance with established clinical standards and evidence based practices, serving as the primary liaison between patients, family members, medical staff, and cardiovascular providers to coordinate care. This role includes assisting providers with inpatient and outpatient cardiac care coordination, diagnostic testing management, and clinical follow ups, along with assessing patient status, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and managing complex cardiac medication regimens under provider direction. This nurse will educate patients and families on cardiac diagnoses, prescribed therapies, procedural expectations, and lifestyle modifications, and will maintain timely, accurate electronic documentation of assessments, interventions, and care modifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing)
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana, or immediate eligibility for compact/endorsement licensure
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Working knowledge of EKG interpretation, cardiac arrhythmias, advanced cardiac medications, and standard cardiology procedures
• Completion of a basic coronary care course
• Proficiency with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) charting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• 2+ years of cardiac or cardiovascular nursing experience

Compensation and Benefits:
