Overview:
Our esteemed client is seeking a highly skilled Plant Reliability/Maintenance Engineer for their state-of-the-art processing facility in Decatur, IL. This pivotal role involves a dual focus on reliability and maintainability, ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of the plant's equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in enhancing equipment maintainability. This will encompass providing comprehensive parts lists, repair and inspection procedures, as well as valuable insights and knowledge to enable Maintenance Planners and Skilled Trades to carry out their duties effectively. Additionally, as the Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing strategies to prevent plant equipment failures, minimize downtime, and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- AS/BS in an engineering or related technical field
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the reliability/maintainability of industrial equipment, including but not limited to large fans, dryers, compressors, and conveyors
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in process industries
- Proficiency in CMMS and SAP
- Demonstrable expertise in root cause analysis and PPM technologies such as vibration analysis, lubrication techniques, and infrared inspections
