Senior Business Development Executive, Cold Chain

Location: Boston, MA (Field-based, Greater Boston territory)

Travel: About 50%
Pay: $95,000 to $105,000 base, plus commission

Build a largely untapped Greater Boston market for a growing provider of temperature-controlled storage and clean-room solutions.

Must-Haves

• 5 to 7+ years of business development, strategic account management, or consultative B2B sales
• Proven success building a territory and new customer base, not just servicing inbound orders
• Experience selling complex, high-value solutions such as capital equipment, rentals, industrial products, or technical services
• Comfort selling to multiple stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers
• Strong business and financial acumen, including communicating ROI
• CRM experience for pipeline and forecasting
• Willingness to travel about 50% in a field-based sales role

What You’ll Do

• Spend about 80% of your time on new business development across Greater Boston
• Build pipeline through outreach, networking, referrals, events, and field activity
• Uncover customer needs around timing, infrastructure, and temperature control
• Design consultative solutions using refrigerated storage rentals, sales, and clean rooms
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and implementation
• Grow a small base of existing accounts
• Partner with operations and engineering to deliver workable solutions
• Keep CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline accurate
• Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events

Nice-to-Haves

• Cold chain, refrigeration, clean-room, pharma, biomedical, or food industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree

Compensation and Benefits

• $95,000 to $105,000 base salary
• Sales incentive and commission opportunity
