- Location: Conveniently Situated in Batavia, NY (Strategically located between Buffalo NY and Rochester NY near the NYS Thruway)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients and develop tailored treatment plans
- Assist patients in performing daily tasks independently through carefully selected activities
- Monitor patients as they carry out assigned tasks and provide guidance and support
- Regularly observe and assess the progress of patients and prepare detailed progress reports
- Contribute to the rehabilitation of patients with disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or other issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Safeguard the confidentiality of patient information during processing
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care services by reviewing patient and department records
- Foster a collaborative relationship with healthcare teams and actively contribute to team efforts
Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited Speech Therapy program
- Hold a valid New York State License
- Previous experience in the field is a plus
