  • Evaluate individuals and create customized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
  • Select appropriate activities to promote independent functioning in daily tasks.
  • Monitor individuals' progress as they complete assigned tasks.
  • Assess and document individuals' progress through detailed reports.
  • Assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities caused by injury, illness, or other conditions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Keep thorough records of individual care services by auditing records.
  • Promote teamwork and maintain positive relationships with other healthcare professionals.


  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program.
  • Current New York State License.
  • Experience in the field is a plus.
