Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct assessments of individuals and develop customized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
- Select appropriate activities to enhance individuals' ability to independently carry out daily tasks.
- Oserve individuals as they perform assigned tasks.
- Monitor and evaluate individuals' progress, and prepare detailed progress reports.
- Aid in the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities resulting from injury, illness, or other conditions.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of individuals' information.
- Document and audit care services provided to individuals.
- Foster a cooperative relationship within the healthcare team and contribute to team efforts.
Requirements Include:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program
- Current New York State License
- Prior experience is advantageous
