Technical Designer
Location: New York, NY

We are seeking a detail-driven Technical Designer to support the development of apparel across multiple categories, including adult sleepwear, intimates, and kids sleepwear. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, growing company where you’ll own the technical development process from concept through production.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Designer in apparel
• Strong expertise in garment fit, construction, and technical development
• Experience managing fit samples, approvals, and revisions
• Ability to create and update tech packs, measurements, and fit comments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

What You’ll Do

Fit & Technical Development

• Manage all fit samples, approvals, and revisions across multiple product categories
• Evaluate garment fit and construction, providing solutions to improve quality and consistency
• Partner with the Design Director to review samples and implement feedback

Tech Packs & Documentation

• Create and maintain accurate tech packs, specs, and fit comments
• Ensure all technical documentation is updated and aligned with product requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with design, production, and costing teams to align on product execution
• Ensure design and construction decisions meet cost and quality targets

Factory Communication & Problem Solving

• Communicate clearly with factories to resolve technical and production issues
• Provide guidance to ensure proper execution of design intent

Project & Workflow Management

• Manage multiple projects across categories while meeting deadlines
• Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-moving, small team environment
