Job Description:

The position available is for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. We are looking for someone who can effectively identify and seize new opportunities to increase product sales. As part of the role, you will also be responsible for investigating and resolving any customer complaints that may arise and negotiating the terms of sale with customers to successfully close deals. It is important for you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the latest clinical data provided by our company.

In order to excel in this role, you should stay updated on the latest developments in medical legislation to assess its impact on company sales. The successful candidate will have demonstrated exceptional negotiation, customer service, and consultative sales skills, which will be vital in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities of a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative:
  • Arrange meetings with both potential and existing customers.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations about our products to potential and existing customers.
  • Identify customers' specific needs and offer the most suitable company products to fulfill those needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers by delivering exceptional after-sales service.
  • Participate in industry events, training sessions, company meetings, briefings, and educational workshops.
  • Conduct research on competitors' products, pricing, and market performance.
  • Compile sales reports, territory analyses, and submit them to management.
Requirements for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative:
  • Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrated experience in medical sales within the diagnostic/laboratory field.
    • Experience in selling toxicology testing is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of medical terminology and legislation.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
