Water and Wastewater Design Engineer, Treatment Plants
Parsippany, NJ | Hybrid | Full-time | $120,000 to $150,000 a year

We're hiring a Water and Wastewater Design Engineer to lead treatment plant and pump station design for municipal and utility clients in New Jersey.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 5 to 10 years of water and wastewater design experience
• PE license or expected within 6 to 12 months
• NJDEP permitting knowledge plus EPA, CWA, and SDWA
• AutoCAD and technical report writing
• US work authorization without sponsorship

What You'll Do

• Design water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations
• Design distribution, collection, and storage systems to AWWA and ASCE standards
• Prepare engineering calculations, specs, cost estimates, and contract documents
• Lead NJPDES permits and Treatment Works Approvals
• Perform site investigations and mentor junior engineers

Compensation and Benefits

• $120,000 to $150,000 base plus discretionary year-end bonus
