Cardiologist Moultrie, GA | On-Site | Full-Time, Direct Hire | $480,000 to $635,000/year

A 155-bed community-based teaching hospital in Moultrie, Georgia is hiring a General Cardiologist (invasive or non-invasive) to join its cardiology team. The team includes board-certified cardiologists and nurse practitioners, with a balanced clinic and cath lab schedule and shared call coverage.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with balanced clinic and cath lab duties. Call rotation of 7 days per month, shared with fellow cardiologists. Additional pay for extra call shifts.

Compensation: $480,000 to $635,000 guaranteed base salary, with 3% annual cost-of-living adjustment, plus the opportunity to earn 100% of practice profits as bonus.

What You'll Do

Provide general cardiology care in both clinic and cath lab settings. Manage a clinic patient load of 14 to 20 patients per day, plus variable inpatient volume. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including ECG, Holter monitoring, echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), stress testing, cardiac CT and MRI, and carotid studies. For invasive cardiologists, the role also includes cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and ICD insertion, and loop recorder placement. Participate in a 7-day-per-month shared call rotation. Precept medical students and residents as part of the academic teaching mission.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Completion or upcoming completion of a Cardiology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (certification required within 5 years if eligible)
• Active Georgia medical license, or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
• Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
• ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a community-based teaching hospital setting
• Experience teaching residents or medical students
• Subspecialty interest in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, or device management
