A multispecialty outpatient practice in Rochester Hills, Michigan is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to join an established team providing full-spectrum women's healthcare services. The practice operates within a hospital system that includes a Level III NICU, onsite Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, and surgical robotics capability. This is a full-time, onsite position with a structured weekly schedule and shared call coverage.
Schedule
The weekly schedule consists of three clinic days, one 24-hour call day, and one OR and administrative day. Weekend and holiday call is shared on a rotating basis among the physician group. Specific call frequency and scheduling details should be confirmed with the practice prior to offer.
Compensation
Base salary is competitive and confirmed with the practice prior to offer. The compensation structure includes productivity bonuses and a partnership track. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available. Specific figures to be confirmed with the practice.
What You'll Do
The OB/GYN in this role provides full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care across both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings. Clinical responsibilities include prenatal care, labor and delivery management, postpartum care, and comprehensive gynecologic services. You will perform obstetrical and gynecological ultrasounds, fetal monitoring, and minor office procedures as part of routine outpatient care, with surgical cases supported by the hospital's robotic surgery program.
You will work within a rotating clinical support staff model that keeps the focus on direct patient care. Collaboration with onsite Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists is available for high-risk obstetric cases, and you will have access to the full range of hospital resources, including the Level III NICU for complex perinatal cases. Consultation and co-management with specialists across multiple disciplines is a regular part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
- Active Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one prior to start
- Eligibility for hospital medical staff privileges at affiliated facilities
- Current ACLS and BLS certification, or ability to obtain prior to start
Preferred Qualifications
- Robotic surgical training or experience, including da Vinci platform proficiency
- ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) certification
- Experience in a high-volume community or academic OB/GYN practice
- Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, or a related subspecialty
- Experience with laborist or nocturnist call models in a Level III or higher perinatal center
