North Charleston, SC | $55,000 to $60,000 base plus commission
A staffing firm specializing in light industrial placement serves distribution and manufacturing clients across the North Charleston area. This full-time, onsite Recruiter role supports high-volume hiring operations and reports directly to the Office Manager. The position is well suited to someone with a background in recruiting coordination or administrative support who wants to build a career in staffing. English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, onsite in North Charleston, SC. Schedule flexibility is available for personal circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available for this role.
Compensation
$55,000 to $60,000 base salary, plus commission or performance incentive. Final offer is based on experience, education, and qualifications.
What You'll Do
This role sits at the center of a busy recruiting operation. You will source candidates through an ATS that aggregates applications from multiple job boards, as well as through direct outreach via online searches, networking, and social platforms. Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates for active and anticipated openings is a core part of the daily workflow.
On the screening side, you will review resumes and applications, coordinate closely with the recruiting team to match candidates to client needs, schedule interviews, and manage reference and background checks as required. Keeping candidate records current and accurate in the ATS is an ongoing responsibility, as is supporting onboarding and new-hire documentation.
You will collaborate daily with the broader recruiting team, contribute to weekly hiring goals, and provide regular progress updates. Process improvement is part of the culture here, and you will be expected to flag bottlenecks and suggest workflow refinements as you learn the operation.
Required Qualifications

1 to 4 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or a closely related administrative role

Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to learn and navigate ATS platforms

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Solid organizational and time-management habits

Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

Prior experience with light industrial, distribution, or manufacturing recruiting

English/Spanish bilingual fluency

Hands-on experience with a major ATS platform (Bullhorn, iCIMS, JobDiva, or similar)

Familiarity with Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or other high-volume job board sourcing
