Launch and shape a brand new shift at a continuous, highly automated chemical plant.
Must-Haves
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field, or 5+ years leading people in hands-on chemical processing
- Continuous process chemical experience
- Shift leadership in chemical or similar industrial manufacturing
- Confidence making decisions without a manager on site
What You'll Do
- Lead a crew of about 12 operators across several process areas
- Get ahead of process deviations and make the call when issues arise
- Set batch schedules, verify raw materials, and coordinate tanker unloads
- Monitor process systems from the control room
- Document shifts, including batch traceability and deviations
- Plan raw material loading, QC sampling, and cleanouts
- Own safety, housekeeping, and operating standards

- PSM exposure
- Polymer, coatings, plastics, or extrusion background
- Experience with automated process controls
Compensation and Benefits
- $85,000 to $105,000 plus bonus
