Blue Island, IL (Onsite) | Full-Time | 1st or 2nd shift | $40 to $65 per hour based on skills and experience

Be the go-to mechanic for every shift at a fast-growing food processing plant in the middle of a major capacity buildout.

Must-Haves

• 480V three-phase electrical experience
• Industrial mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
• Working knowledge of OSHA and LOTO
• Comfortable in a hot, physical plant environment without air conditioning

What You'll Do

• Maintain mechanical and electrical systems across a three-shift food processing plant
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, including 480V equipment
• Install, align, and service pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, screens, and tanks
• Weld, fabricate, and rig as needed
• Use SCADA, PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation to track down faults
• Complete PMs in the CMMS and keep records accurate
• Help the maintenance manager plan and prioritize work

Nice-to-Haves

• MIG and stick welding
• SCADA, PLC, or VFD experience
• CMMS experience
• Food, chemical, or process plant background
