About the Role

We are looking for an Audit Manager with specialized expertise in Nonprofit Organizations (NPOs) and Single Audits. In this role, you will lead, manage, and execute nonprofit audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. You’ll work closely with clients, providing insights and strategic recommendations, all while mentoring a high-performing audit team. Hybrid work options may be available.

What You’ll Do

Lead and oversee audit engagements for nonprofit organizations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and OMB Uniform Guidance.
Plan, execute, and complete Single Audits while maintaining audit quality and accuracy.
Evaluate internal controls, financial statements, and risk areas, identifying key improvements.
Provide coaching and supervision to audit staff, fostering professional growth and development.
Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on financial and audit matters.
Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and standards.
Deliver detailed audit reports, presenting findings to senior management and clients.

What We’re Looking For

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
 Minimum 4 years of audit experience, focusing on nonprofit organizations and Single Audits.
 Minimum 4 years in public accounting specializing in audit.
Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and OMB Uniform Guidance.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
