• 4+ years of public accounting audit experience required
• Experience working in a CPA firm environment required
• Strong audit execution experience including planning, fieldwork, and completion

• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Big 4 or large regional CPA firm experience preferred

A well-established CPA firm headquartered in Denver is expanding into the Phoenix market with a new office in North Scottsdale. As part of this growth, the firm is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its founding leadership team in Arizona.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion
• Perform and oversee audit fieldwork, testing, and documentation
• Review financial statements and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit staff and seniors
• Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and firm leadership
• Support engagement planning, budgeting, and risk assessment activities
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and expand client services
• Contribute to firm growth initiatives and practice development efforts
