Position Summary

We are currently hiring a talented and experienced Computer Numerical Control Operator to join our team in the beautiful city of Reading, PA. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and programming CNC machines to produce top-notch parts that meet precise specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Expertly operate, set up, and adjust various CNC machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Thoroughly analyze and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to understand project requirements.
• Utilize advanced precision measuring instruments to ensure the impeccable quality of each product.
• Troubleshoot and skillfully resolve any machining issues that may arise during the production process.
• Conduct regular maintenance activities to keep the equipment in optimal condition.
• Diligently maintain a safe and clean work environment to promote efficiency and adherence to industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Candidates with a range of experience levels in CNC machining are encouraged to apply, including entry-level and highly experienced professionals.
• Education: Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, while additional technical certifications are considered a plus.
• Skills:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in G-code and CNC programming, with familiarity in systems such as Fanuc, Haas, and Mazak.
  • Exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude and impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Adeptness in reading and comprehending complex blueprints, as well as using precision measuring tools with precision.
  • Solid understanding and adherence to shop safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the team and equipment.
