Kitchen Designer (Architecture / Interior Design)

Location: Wheat Ridge, CO
Job Type: Part-Time (~15 hours per week)
Compensation: $35–$50 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

We’re partnering with a growing design team in Colorado to find a talented Kitchen Designer. In this role, you’ll guide clients through every step of the design process—from initial concepts to completed installations—creating customized kitchens that reflect each client’s style, needs, and lifestyle. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated designer who values both creativity and precision.

The Role:
As a Kitchen Designer, you will be the creative force behind beautifully designed, client-focused kitchen projects. You’ll work closely with homeowners, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure every design is executed flawlessly.

What You’ll Do:

• Meet with clients to understand their vision, functional needs, and style preferences.

• Develop detailed layout plans, 2D/3D renderings, and finish schedules using design software (Revit, AutoCAD, 20/20, or Compusoft Winner).

• Create precise cabinetry and installation plans, including elevations and material specifications.

• Prepare and present design proposals, material selections, and pricing to clients.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Oversee projects from design to installation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and client satisfaction.

• Maintain organized project files, clear documentation, and consistent communication with all stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience with CAD software (Revit, AutoCAD, 20/20, or Compusoft Winner preferred).

• Proven experience in kitchen design with strong knowledge of space planning and cabinetry layout.

• 2+ years in a client-facing design or sales role.

• Understanding of cabinetmaking, materials, finishes, and construction practices.

• Ability to read architectural plans and produce accurate technical drawings.

• Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple projects.

• Respect for diverse design styles, client preferences, and budgets.

Preferred (But Not Required):

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.

• Experience with the metric system.

• Familiarity with kitchen construction details and best practices.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $35–$50, depending on experience and performance.

• Open to higher rates for exceptional candidates.
