§ Title: Senior Healthcare & Commercial Litigation Counsel | Senior Associate

§ Location: Northern New Jersey (Roseland Area) / Metropolitan New York Area
§ Salary: $170,000 to $225,000 Base Salary (Plus discretionary year-end bonus, merit increases, origination credits, and full benefits)
§ Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Minimum 1,850 annual billable target

§ Duties:
The incoming Senior Healthcare Business Litigation Attorney will lead complex commercial, healthcare, and employment litigation matters from case inception through trial and final resolution.
Core responsibilities encompass:
⨖ Formulating and executing comprehensive litigation, defense, and risk-mitigation strategies for corporate and healthcare clients.
⨖ Serving as first- or second-chair trial counsel in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.
⨖ Drafting and arguing substantive pleadings, dispositive motions, emergency injunctions, and appellate briefs.
⨖ Conducting and defending critical depositions of fact witnesses, corporate representatives, and expert witnesses.
⨖ Managing complex discovery protocols, e-discovery processes, and internal regulatory compliance reviews.
⨖ Collaborating cross-functionally with healthcare regulatory, employment, and corporate practice groups to deliver seamless client counsel.
§ Qualifications:
Candidate evaluation will center on established courtroom capability, analytical rigor, and professional credentials:
⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
⨖ Active Bar License in the State of New Jersey in good standing.
⨖ Seven (7) or more years of substantive experience managing complex commercial, healthcare, or employment litigation.
⨖ Proven track record of first- or second-chair trial or arbitration experience.
⨖ Substantive experience conducting depositions, managing multi-faceted discovery, and arguing contested motions.
§ Skills:
The following credentials and capabilities are considered highly advantageous:
⨖ Active Bar Admission in the State of New York (or eligibility for prompt motion admission).
⨖ Demonstrated expertise handling regulatory healthcare disputes, administrative enforcement actions, or restrictive covenant litigation.
⨖ Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and courtroom oral advocacy capabilities.
⨖ Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to support junior associates and practice group development.
