Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd Shift Asheville, NC | Full-Time

We are hiring a 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic for a beverage manufacturing facility in Asheville, NC. This is a direct-hire role on an established overnight maintenance team supporting high-speed hot fill production lines. Pay range reflects the span from mid-level technicians to senior mechanics with hot fill and high-speed line expertise.

Schedule: Third Shift

What You'll Do

Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled work orders on high-speed bottling and hot fill equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical (120V–480V), and pneumatic systems. Inspect hot fill equipment, identify wear, and complete repairs before failures occur. Order replacement parts, document maintenance activity in the CMMS, and support installation, testing, and startup of new equipment. Follow SQF food safety standards and all plant safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with 120V–480V electrical systems
• Working knowledge of pneumatic and mechanical systems
• Proficient with standard hand and power tools
• Available to work overnight shift, Sunday through Thursday

Preferred Qualifications (drive pay toward the top of the range)

• Direct experience with hot fill or high-speed beverage equipment
• Familiarity with SQF or equivalent food safety standards
• Experience with equipment commissioning, FAT/SAT, or startup
• PLC troubleshooting or HMI experience
