As a Breast Imaging Technologist, you will work under the guidance of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse. You will have the freedom to exercise your professional judgment while performing radiographic diagnosis using ionizing radiation at a technical level. Ensuring compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards, you will produce and evaluate images and related data for medical diagnosis by physicians. You will also handle clerical tasks and coordinate exams.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of education necessary for certification, license, or registration.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hiring.
• National Registered Technologist - Mammography upon hiring.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hiring.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Mammography.
• Familiarity with MQSA standards.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess all the required licenses and certificates and have a minimum of one year of experience as a hospital-based radiologic technologist.
