Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET - CT Tech)

 

Location: Syracuse, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating 8-hour day shifts between 6 AM – 5 PM (No weekends or on-call)

Overview:
Join a dynamic outpatient imaging team in a modern PET/CT and SPECT/CT department located at a Specialty Services Center. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist looking to advance their career—particularly those interested in sitting for the NMTCB(CT) boards while enrolled at the College of Health Professions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all PET/CT and SPECT/CT procedures in an outpatient setting
  • Accurately calculate, order, administer, and record radioactive isotopes
  • Verify physician orders and confirm patient identification prior to procedures
  • Educate patients on exam preparation and expectations
  • Perform all required quality control procedures
  • Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements and safety standards

Qualifications:
Required:

  • CNMT or ARRT(N) certified
  • Licensed by the NYS Department of Health (Nuclear Medicine)
  • Current CPR certification
  • No PET experience necessary—training provided

Preferred:

  • NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification
