Oncology Clinical Trials RN

Bethesda and Glen Burnie, MD | Full-Time

An outpatient oncology and clinical research program is expanding and is seeking an experienced Oncology RN with Phase I/II clinical trials experience. This role combines direct patient care with clinical research, supporting investigational therapies, precision oncology, and theranostics programs.

Schedule
Monday through Friday. Candidates must be able to work between the Bethesda and Glen Burnie locations.

Compensation
$110,000 to $135,000 per year.

What You'll Do
This role provides direct care to oncology patients participating in Phase I/II clinical trials, including ongoing assessment and monitoring of treatment response and adverse events. The nurse coordinates study visits, testing, labs, and treatment schedules in accordance with clinical trial protocols and documentation requirements. Patient and family education is a core part of the role, as is close collaboration with physicians and the broader clinical research team to ensure trial integrity and quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license
• Strong oncology nursing experience
• Direct Phase I/II oncology clinical trials experience
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work between Bethesda and Glen Burnie, MD

Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
• BLS certification (ACLS a plus)
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems for clinical trial documentation
• Background working directly with sponsors or CROs on trial compliance
