Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Rehabilitation Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Indio, California. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting patients in their recovery from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and restore functionality. By conducting thorough assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic exercises, you will significantly contribute to improving patients' quality of life and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical abilities, medical backgrounds, and functional limitations comprehensively.
- Create comprehensive treatment plans that cater to the individual needs and goals of each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, restore function, and prevent disability.
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, activities of daily living, as well as pain management strategies and injury prevention.
- Regularly monitor patients' progress, make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, and accurately and timely document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Rehabilitation or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Rehabilitation Specialist in the state of California.
- Excellent clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing, and treating various musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans and effectively monitoring patient progress.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with compassion and empathy.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant healthcare technologies.
