Hospice Clinical Services Director (RN)
This is an amazing opportunity with a remarkable organization providing compassionate and dedicated hospice services.
REQUIRED: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing hospice and clinical operations.
The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hospice clinical services. The DCS will develop, implement, and assess goals and objectives for hospice services that align with and exemplify the highest standards of quality, while advancing the overall mission and values of the organization.
- 5-7 years of recent hospice experience are necessary.
- 2-3 years of management experience in hospice are required, such as Clinical Manager, Director of Clinical Operations, Director of Nursing, Patient Care Managers, etc.
- Strategic planning and budgeting: Maintaining appropriate census and staffing ratios, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Assurance (QA) and Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Flexible and innovative approach to problem-solving
- Dedicated and strong work ethic
- Ability to build and foster collaborative relationships, a team-oriented mindset, and the capacity to mentor and coach staff effectively
- Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree program in nursing
- Current state RN licensure
- Prior experience in a hospice or home care setting, with at least two (2) years of management or supervisory experience. Proven ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
