Technical Sales Representative
Location: Covington, LA (within 100 miles of Baton Rouge preferred)

Our company is seeking a passionate Technical Sales Representative to fulfill a crucial, customer-oriented role that merges technical expertise with strategic sales support. Your Role & Responsibilities
Sales Support & Solution Design (50%)
- Act as a reliable technical advisor, translating customer requirements into customized solutions.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and deliver compelling Voice, Video, and Data solutions that provide significant business value.
- Lead technical pre-sales presentations and demonstrate the capabilities of our products through proof-of-concept sessions.
- Assist in creating proposals, responding to RFPs, and effectively managing pricing, quoting, and contract processes.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales pipeline data in the designated CRM system (Salesforce or equivalent).
Engineering & Customer Engagement (50%)
- Support the deployment, initial equipment installations, and testing of solutions after the sales process.
- Provide exceptional ongoing support to ensure that technical solutions align with the customers' business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to enhance the customer experience and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure that customer network configurations and system documentation are consistently up-to-date.
- Conduct technical training sessions for both the Sales team and customers.

Required:
- 3+ years of experience supporting Sales and Product teams with technical solution development.
- 5+ years of experience in IP Network Administration.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for client meetings (typically once a week).
Preferred:
- Cisco CCNA certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
Location & Work Environment
- Hybrid Position – Work remotely with occasional travel within a 100-mile radius of Baton Rouge (New Orleans, Lafayette, Covington preferred).
- Maintain reliable transportation for client meetings, usually once a week.
