Job Summary of the Lead Design Engineer: As a key member of the Engineering team, the Lead Design Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with a group of design engineers to develop innovative mechanical products and systems that meet the unique requirements and preferences of our customers.

Qualifications of Lead Design Engineer:
• Execute and finalize engineering projects based on customer specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive research and apply principles of mechanics, hydraulics, and materials to evaluate mechanical systems and products.
• Devise testing methods and feasibility studies to validate system and product capabilities.
• Design mechanical products in line with customer expectations.
• Enhance manufacturing processes by modifying equipment and devising cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure system and product quality through the development of testing methods.
• Summarize and analyze data to prepare accurate product reports.
• Provide prompt and knowledgeable responses to engineering inquiries and requests.
• Adhere to government regulations to maintain product and company reputation.
• Manage system and product databases through effective data entry and computer programming.

Responsibilities of the Lead Design Engineer:
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferred experience in heavy equipment, heavy haul or heavy trailer, tractor, farming or agriculture engineering design.
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.
• Strong background in welding steel structures, steel design, and hydraulics design.
• Previous modeling perimeter design work experience.
• Demonstrated contributions to design projects on a significant scale.
• Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Design software systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Possesses analytical and technical skills to identify automation opportunities and understand cost accounting principles.
• Innovative mindset with an understanding and application of lean enterprise principles and practices.
• Quick learner with an adaptable approach to new tools and systems.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
