ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – EMINENT DOMAIN & CONDEMNATION LAW
Location: Beautiful Charleston, SC
A highly reputable law firm in the Southeast is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Eminent Domain & Condemnation matters to join their Charleston, Columbia, or Greenville office.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to handle challenging commercial real estate litigation cases involving eminent domain and condemnation within a vibrant and supportive work environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Graduated with a Juris Doctor from a highly regarded law school, demonstrating academic excellence.
- Must have an active South Carolina bar admission.
- It is required to possess a background of 3-5 years in commercial real estate-related litigation.
- Proven ability in managing hearings, discovery, and depositions.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal research.
- Interest or experience in areas such as eminent domain/condemnation, property rights, land use, zoning/entitlements, real estate development, commercial real estate transactions, or real estate litigation.
- A strong focus on client satisfaction and the ability to handle multiple cases effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients, including property owners and government entities, in eminent domain and condemnation cases.
- Offer legal guidance throughout the entire eminent domain process and property disputes.
- Handle various aspects of litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting investigations, preparing for depositions, and attending hearings.
- Collaborate with a skilled team of attorneys to develop legal strategies, negotiate settlements, and advocate for clients in complex property disputes.
- Provide exceptional legal advice and support to clients involved in commercial real estate-related litigation.
