  • Exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine technician to pursue NMTCB(CT) board certification through enrollment with the College of Health Professions.
  • Rotating schedule consisting of 8-hour workdays.
  • Possible overtime on occasion.
  • No weekend shifts or on-call responsibilities.
  • Located in Syracuse, NY.
  • Enjoy a stimulating work environment within the PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department at the Specialty Services Center.
  • Private office space with a rotating Monday-Friday schedule between 6 am and 5 pm.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • · Perform all duties involving hybrid imaging within the PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department.
  • · Calculate, order, administer, and document radioactive isotopes.
  • · Educate patients on proper examination preparations.
  • · Verify physician orders for procedures and accurately identify patients.
  • · Conduct all required quality control procedures.
  • · Stay compliant with continuing education requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • CNMT or ARRT(N) certification and a valid NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License. Current CPR certification. Prior PET experience is not required, as training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications: NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification.
