Sr. Manufacturing Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst, Manufacturing

Little Rock, AR | $100,000 to $110,000 annually | Full-Time, On-Site

This is a senior finance role embedded in plant operations at a heavy industrial manufacturing company in Little Rock, Arkansas. The position sits at the intersection of cost accounting, financial planning, and operations partnership, supporting plant leadership, supply chain, and executive teams with the financial analysis and cost visibility needed to drive profitability and operational performance across a complex manufacturing environment.

Schedule

Full-time, on-site in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Compensation

$100,000 to $110,000 base salary annually, depending on experience.

What You'll Do

You will own the cost accounting function for the plant, including managing and maintaining standard costing systems, conducting bill of materials reviews, performing cost rollups, and administering overhead allocations. Variance analysis is a core daily responsibility. You will analyze manufacturing variances across labor efficiency, material usage, purchase price variance, and overhead absorption, and you will be expected to translate those findings into clear, actionable recommendations for operations leadership rather than simply reporting the numbers.

Inventory accounting is a significant part of the role. You will support inventory valuation, work-in-process analysis, inventory controls, and cost of goods sold reconciliation, and you will partner with operations and supply chain teams to maintain accuracy and identify control gaps.

On the FP&A side, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles for the plant. That includes building and maintaining financial models covering revenue, cost, margin, and cash flow, performing monthly variance analysis, and preparing materials for executive reporting and business performance reviews. When capital projects move forward, you will support the financial analysis, ROI evaluations, and investment decision documentation.

You will serve as the primary finance business partner to manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and plant leadership. That means sitting in operational meetings, understanding the production environment well enough to ask the right questions, and helping leadership teams understand the financial implications of operational decisions before they make them.

On the systems side, you will use SAP to analyze operational and financial performance, develop reporting tools and dashboards, and support ongoing automation and data integrity initiatives.
