This home health agency serving the Dallas market is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to oversee clinical services and direct care coordination. The Clinical Director is a registered nurse responsible for ensuring quality of patient care in the home, meeting federal and state regulatory requirements, and maintaining agency readiness for licensure surveys and Conditions of Participation audits. This role reports to the Administrator and oversees the nursing division's strategy, staffing and performance.

Compensation

$90,000 to $98,000 per year, based on experience.

What You'll Do

The Clinical Director plans, develops and drives strategy for the nursing division, establishing standards for measuring quality of care and organizational performance. This person oversees patient care services to ensure timely, high quality delivery, monitors the agency's QAPI program and ensures appropriate corrective actions are taken, and identifies systemic problem areas to the Administrator through verbal and written reporting. The Clinical Director promotes infection control and universal precaution practices across patient care activities, hires, manages, mentors and evaluates clinical staff, and works closely with the Manager of Intake and Authorization to ensure deadlines are met. This role also ensures staff meet mandatory continuing education requirements set by the agency and licensing board.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
• 2 to 5 years of management experience in home health
• Experience with OASIS and QAPI
• Strong Medicare (adult) background
• Strong organizational, leadership and written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Experience preparing agencies for licensure surveys and Conditions of Participation audits
• Demonstrated experience building and mentoring clinical teams
