Must-Haves

  • Prior experience treating hospice patients
  • Comfort conducting in-home patient visits
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily travel
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with physicians and families

  • Experience promoting advanced directives and end-of-life care planning
  • Background working with interdisciplinary hospice teams

Position Highlights

  • Setting: Established hospice home care provider serving the Piedmont Triad region
  • Daily Workload: Typically 2 to 3 home visits per day
  • Compensation: $115,000 to $130,000
  • Employer-provided laptop, cell phone, and mileage reimbursement

What You'll Do

Step into a deeply meaningful role where your clinical expertise supports patients and families during one of life's most important transitions. In this role, you will:

  • See patients in their homes, typically completing 2 to 3 visits each day
  • Promote the highest quality of end-of-life care, including hospice services and widespread use of advanced directives
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, consultants, nursing staff, and other medical professionals on patient care plans
  • Provide compassionate clinical guidance to patients and their families throughout the hospice journey

  • Strengthen family understanding and use of advanced directives
