Senior Tax Manager, Public Accounting Tax Advisory

Location: Toronto, ON (North York, steps from the subway)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000 to $200,000 CAD per year

Lead complex Canadian tax planning for owner-managed businesses at a respected mid-sized CPA firm, with the option to join at the Senior Tax Manager or Tax Principal level.

Must-Haves

• CPA designation
• CPA In-Depth Tax Program or a Master’s degree in Taxation
• Significant Canadian public accounting tax experience
• Current or recent experience at a mid-sized CPA firm
• Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate and personal taxation
• Extensive tax planning and advisory experience
• Proven ability to lead engagements and guide other professionals
• Excellent research, communication, and client relationship skills

What You’ll Do

• Deliver Canadian tax planning and advisory services to corporate and owner-managed clients
• Review complex corporate, personal, trust, and partnership returns
• Advise on corporate reorganizations, estate and succession planning, and shareholder transactions
• Research tax legislation, CRA positions, and case law
• Prepare and review tax planning memos and technical deliverables
• Work closely with partners on complex engagements
• Mentor and guide managers and staff
• Build client relationships and support business development

Compensation and Benefits
