HVAC Service Sales Representative

A well-established regional commercial mechanical services contractor is hiring an HVAC Service Sales Representative to sell service and preventive maintenance agreements. This role covers Central and Northern New Jersey (north of I-195), calling on hospitals, schools, manufacturing facilities, industrial parks, property management companies, and retail locations.

Schedule
Full-time, field-based sales role covering Central and Northern NJ.

Compensation
$100,000 to $150,000 per year (base salary plus car allowance and uncapped commission, with residual income opportunity).

What You'll Do
This representative is responsible for selling service and preventive maintenance agreements across a territory covering Central and Northern New Jersey, north of I-195. The role involves building relationships with facility decision-makers at hospitals, schools, manufacturing and industrial sites, property management companies, and retail locations, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract close. This is a growth-focused role with an established company and an experienced management team supporting ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC sales experience, or comparable experience selling other building systems (security, fire protection, low voltage, electrical)
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage a multi-facility territory and build long-term client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with building automation controls
• LEED accreditation
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Professional (CEP) credential
