A public accounting firm is hiring a Senior Auditor to perform a variety of complex audit and assurance tasks in a hybrid work environment. This role works under the guidance of seasoned professionals to enhance client systems and operations, leading and executing diverse accounting and auditing assignments with minimal supervision.

Full-time, hybrid.

Compensation
$65,000 to $85,000 per year.

What You'll Do
This auditor leads and executes diverse accounting and auditing assignments with minimal supervision, guiding and mentoring staff accountants to ensure high-quality work and adherence to professional standards. The role prepares comprehensive workpapers and financial statements in compliance with GAAP or OCBOA, and actively participates in planning and scheduling client engagements to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met. This position provides recommendations for improving client internal controls and operational procedures, and communicates directly with clients to ensure seamless, minimally disruptive engagements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• 3-4 years of progressive experience in public accounting
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently with attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or active candidacy
• Proficiency in accounting software, including CCH Engagement, Creative Solutions Fixed Assets, PPC Checkpoint Tools, and QuickBooks

Compensation and Benefits

• $65,000 to $85,000 per year
