A manufacturing company is hiring an Operations Manager to lead its U.S. business entity, including manufacturing operations, central warehouse, finance, and supporting business functions. This role ensures operational excellence, financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement across all functional areas, serving as a member of the Local Management Team (LMT) and as the authorized signatory and legal representative of the U.S. entity, as delegated by executive management.

What You'll Do
This manager develops and executes annual operational plans aligned with corporate strategy and North American business objectives, establishing departmental goals, budgets, staffing plans, and performance metrics. The role leads manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, and support functions to achieve production and customer service targets, monitoring operational performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost control. This position oversees manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met safely and within quality standards, ensures adequate staffing, equipment, and materials are available to meet customer demand, and drives Lean Manufacturing initiatives while monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions as needed. The manager directs warehouse operations to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient material flow, optimizes warehouse capacity and inventory turnover, and ensures timely order fulfillment and shipping performance. This role provides overall financial leadership for U.S. operations, managing accounting, accounts receivable, credit control, cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, overseeing forecasting and long-range financial planning, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The manager leads, coaches, and develops direct reports across Operations and Finance, promotes employee engagement and continuous development, ensures appropriate staffing and succession planning, and partners with Human Resources on employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and compliance. This position ensures manufacturing and support processes consistently meet customer expectations and service level agreements, resolves operational issues affecting customer service, and supports Sales and Customer Service teams. The manager promotes and maintains a safe workplace, ensures compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, supports quality management systems, and leads investigations and corrective actions related to safety or quality incidents. This role participates in strategic planning as a member of the Local Management Team, evaluates business performance, and leads organizational change initiatives that improve efficiency and business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Knowledge of and experience organizing effective business operations in a commercial environment
- Knowledge of and insight into factors that influence customer satisfaction, including manufacturability, quality, return, and risk management
- Experience with personnel management and implementing organizational change
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for safety, health, and the environment
Compensation and Benefits
