Maintenance Supervisor

$80,000 to $100,000 per year, plus bonus

A food manufacturing facility is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams in the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment across the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse. This role oversees maintenance of key processes to keep product flow and production lines running at peak performance.

Schedule: 1st Shift.

Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus.

What You'll Do:

The Maintenance Supervisor leads teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance and machine repairs, and trains employees on proper work methods and safety procedures. This includes supervising maintenance systems, processes, and documentation, and scheduling maintenance in collaboration with Production to address equipment and facility repairs.

The role develops and implements maintenance systems including Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, and SOPs, and provides long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failures. The Maintenance Supervisor develops and maintains KPIs for tracking maintenance performance, including supplier performance, contractor performance, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness, and provides regular status reports to the maintenance management team.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations, maintaining accurate records of maintenance work and inventory, and supporting employee development and coaching.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience leading others through training, coaching, or mentoring, or through managing a process or project
• Ability to lead problem-solving and troubleshooting for high-level process issues
• Background in food manufacturing or a similar industry
• Strong electro-mechanical skillset
• Strong root cause analysis background
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ammonia refrigeration background
• Advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, compressed air, and mechanical and electrical fields (PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical engineering)
• Experience leading resource planning in a large manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive and predictive maintenance, TPM, and inventory and scheduling software
• Strong leadership skills including conflict resolution, facilitation, change management, and delegation
