Audit Senior Accountant - Public Accounting

Our Client is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, contributing to audit, review, and compilation engagements. This multifaceted role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Active involvement in audit projects, spanning from planning to issuance.

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and accompanying notes.

• Conducting thorough self-reviews of workpapers prior to submission to the direct supervisor.

• Developing audit programs, time budgets, and planning documentation.

• Mentoring and providing on-the-job training for staff members.

• Collaborating on special projects as required.

• Providing timely feedback for staff accountant performance evaluations.

• Participating in select administrative committees and functions.

• Proactively seeking out additional projects.

• Demonstrating wholehearted commitment to our firm's Mission and Core Values.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Prior experience with a Big 4 or regional CPA firm is a valuable asset.

• A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

• An impressive academic and professional track record.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and eligibility to sit for the CPA Exam (CPA licensure is highly desirable but not required).

• Proven ability to manage goals through collaboration and teamwork.

• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula creation (V-lookups a plus).

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in applying effective problem-solving techniques.

• A highly positive attitude, outstanding client service skills, and a passion for continuous learning and personal growth.
