Environmental Manager – Plant

Environmental Manager - Manufacturing
Tyler, TX |

A large manufacturing facility in Tyler, Texas, is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead all environmental engineering, compliance, and sustainability programs across the plant and three associated distribution centers. The position reports directly to the General Manager and carries full supervisory responsibility for a team that includes three Environmental Engineers, an Environmental Technician, and an hourly environmental crew. Travel of up to 25% is required to support the distribution center locations.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $140,000 - $165,000 Per Year

What You'll Do

As the Environmental Manager, you will provide leadership and strategic direction for the facility's environmental programs, overseeing compliance across air, water, and waste management disciplines. You will manage the full scope of air permitting obligations, including Title V, PSD, and NSR permits, and ensure the plant and distribution centers maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

You will directly supervise and develop a team of environmental professionals, setting priorities, managing workloads, and building technical capability across the group.
