Job Description:

As the Facilities Maintenance Manager (Refrigeration), you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing maintenance tasks performed on our facilities and equipment. You will utilize your technical skills in carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing to perform complex building repairs. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our production equipment is well-maintained and meets organizational standards, while minimizing equipment downtime.

Your key responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining preventive maintenance programs and procedures, managing a team of mechanics and technicians, overseeing inventory of operational supplies, conducting weekly and monthly building inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments and perform any other duties assigned to contribute to the overall success of our company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise associates, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Maintain the warehouse by repairing concrete floors, roll-up dock doors, and racks; replacing lights and fixtures; fixing plumbing; installing, repairing, and texturing drywall; servicing air conditioning units; and remodeling and decorating rooms as needed.
• Coordinate with outside building contractors.
• Keep accurate records of work orders for preventative maintenance and monitor ammonia cooling systems.
• Repair in-house vending machines when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required Experience: 4-6 Years.
• Minimum of two years of experience in carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing.
• Five or more years of experience working on commercial heating and air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.
• Experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
