Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Quality and Safety

Location: Waterloo, IA
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings
Pay: $75,000 to $88,000 per year

Lead a production team as a hands-on supervisor who owns quality, safety, and results for your area.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Proven ability to get results through others
• Strong commitment to quality and safety
• Problem analysis and resolution skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

What You’ll Do

• Plan and assign work to meet the production schedule
• Work hands-on in your area about half the time
• Serve as quality inspector and enforce quality standards
• Act as safety coordinator, spotting hazards before they become incidents
• Coach, counsel, train, and evaluate team members
• Keep materials stocked so the team stays productive
• Monitor process steps and equipment and identify cost savings
• Track and report shift production results
• Build cooperation across departments

Nice-to-Haves

• Fabrication, welding, or heavy equipment manufacturing experience
• Continuous improvement or cost reduction experience

Compensation and Benefits

• $75,000 to $88,000 per year
• Choice of 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
