CMM Quality Inspector, PC-DMIS Programming

Location: Barkhamsted, CT (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Pay: $75,000 to $80,000 per year

Program, inspect, and verify precision machined components as the CMM expert who makes sure every part meets spec.

Must-Haves

• 3 to 5 years of CMM programming and inspection experience
• Proficiency with PC-DMIS
• Proficiency with CATIA
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

What You'll Do

• Program and operate CMMs to inspect machined components
• Verify part geometry and dimensions against drawings and specifications
• Complete AS9102 first article inspection (FAI) reports
• Ensure inspection documentation and design controls are accurate
• Document results and communicate discrepancies clearly
• Partner with production, engineering, and quality to resolve inspection issues

Nice-to-Haves

• Hands-on AS9102 first article inspection experience
• Background in precision machining or aerospace manufacturing
